Our campsite facilities.

Just to give you some more information as to what you can expect when you stay.
This is a new venture and as you might expect we haven't been able to afford to do everything we want to straight away but what we have got we hope you agree will be of a good standard.

Showers & toilets.

The showers and toilets that we have are a temporary set up but we have we hope provided a clean and practical solution until we are able to put in more permanent facilities.

This is the structure for the washing up sinks along with two showers.

This is the double sink with hot water on demand.

And this is one of the showers which also gives hot water on demand. Each shower has room to keep your dry stuff dry without having to be a contortionist!

The toilets are classed as an event loo which is basically a nicer looking portaloo! These we will make sure are kept clean and emptied on a regular basis.

Outside space.

Both the Yurt and Safari Tent are set in the same field but they are set apart with loads of open space. Each pitch has its own firepit.
Here you can see the Yurt with the view towards Tenterden.

And from the front.

Here is a long shot towards the Safari Tent.

And here is the wood that is open to our guests.

Some more info

We also will provide water containers and cool boxes which we will provide freezer packs for.

If you have any questions please don't hesitate to contact us.

We Are Open!

After much hard work we have now opened the campsite and are ready for our first guests. This post will bring you up to date with what we have done and can offer.
Last Saturday we had a small opening party with family and friends which went incredibly well, the weather was perfect and so was the company.

Our stunning Safari Tent.

Inside the 20ft Yurt.

We started off  the evening on Saturday with some great locally brewed beer from The Old Dairy Brewery in Rolvenden and then got going on the home made pizzas with all the children creating their own multi topped pizzas.

Then we lit the campfire,

and got the marshmallows out.

So now all you need to do is come and try it for yourself!

Finishing Our First Yurt Deck.

We have now at long last finished our first Yurt deck and below you can see some of the process involved in getting this far. Going from incredibly dry warm weather to the wettest the ground had been all winter.
All in all we have had a very busy month working on our new site as well as the plant nursery and furniture restoration side of the business, looking forward to along weekend in a Yurt!
Great spring day with ewes and their new born lambs.

This was the start of the ramp that leads up to the Yurts.

Starting to build my first set of steps.

The first of very many spindles.

Above and below you can see the finished deck.

Please look again soon as we will be putting more pictures of the next platform for our Safari Tent plus the shower structure.

Our Yurts Arrive!

Its been a very exciting week as we saw our first Yurts go up. We had a very busy week last week making changes to the deck floor but we got it right and the Yurts went up no trouble with the help of Chris and everybody from the Yurt Shop.
Please take a look at the pictures below and check back soon as we will be launching a new look booking page which will be more comprehensive than the existing page.
We thought we could relax!

This is the start of putting the floor right.

Much hard work later and we're ready for the Yurts.

This is how it starts when a Yurt goes up.

Half an hour later!

20ft finished and the 10ft is started.

Two hours from start to finish and the Yurts are up and they look amazing.

How about this for an early morning view!
